us, at dawn;
sitting by the sea.
the sky brightens up, in so many ways.
the world awakens, i close my eyes;
as this world, breathes softly, beside me.



does it really matter where you live your life;
assigning meaning to brick, mortar, and concrete?
i’ve taken the train for fifteen years here –
and suddenly, the last one mattered.

even though, the place i’m headed to
has more trains than here.
